The minor traffic shift will be in effect for roughly one week, then traffic will be put back into the proposed traffic configuration of being maintained on the new temporary pavement and existing left lane. There will be temporary minor traffic shifts between 13 Mile Road and Chicago Road to accommodate underground utility work. Northbound Mound Road will be closed to two lanes from 11 Mile Road to 16 Mile Road, with traffic maintained on the new temporary pavement and in the left lane. Two northbound lanes of Mound Road between 11 Mile Road and Metropolitan Parkway and two southbound lanes of Mound Road between 14 Mile Road and Metropolitan Parkway will be closed with traffic shifting to temporary pavement lanes.
